Ok my sister our friend Betsy and me are on a diet now we are totaly cutting out junk food drinking way more water and walking everyday even on the weekends or when were hanging out or stuff like that now say your 247 pounds or something how long would it take to get down to 125??? also were will be working out at the gym over the summer right now we are just doing situps and stuff so yeah but totaly cutting out junk food eating more fruits vegetables and stuff like that will this diet work and how long will it take to get down to 125 if you are say 247 thanks in advance

That is a very big drop. If you were to do this safetly..you could lose 120lbs in a year-a year and a half. Making small goals is the best way to get lower and lower. For example..in 3 months make it a goal to be 215-220lbs. And plan to lose 20 or 30 lbs every 3 months or so. dont lose too much too fast
