Study hard, aim for a higher paying career & maybe apply for a part time (or full time) job. :) That way you can have a little bit of extra cash on the side to buy yourself some nice things. Other than that, don't worry about it too much. There are other ways to finding happiness. :)

everyone want to be rich! =]. even I want to. You can either act on it or try to be happy with what you have. its not much but its what work hard for and earned it. You just need to learn to appreciate what you have instead of wanting for something else. But there's nothing wrong for wanting to be rich. There are ways to kill that ..
1. STUDY hard! education can get you anywhere you want. [look at bill gate & other sucessful people lol.]
2. MARRY a rich man. that would work.
3. BUY lotto and try to win?
4. sue some company.. and there you go.
5. join NBA or WNBA [I don't know your gender]
hope I helped =]. good luck
[I was kidding about those examples except #1.]

I don't know how old you are.
But I suggest getting your own part time job, this way you have extra income to spend on nice things like clothes and other trinkets. Which might make you feel better.
I come from an average family, but since I have my own job taht income goes directly to buying nice stuff for myself.
