I've got this problem that people take the wrong way, HELP!!

Question Posted Thursday May 3 2007, 9:25 pm

female/13

I have a dandruff problem, I can never get all of the soap out of my hair! And there is a group of girls that gossip, I guess I can just call them a gossip group. And one of the girls a few weeks ago spread that I had lice!! I don't but people think that. I need help in getting rid of soap left in my hair. Like, just some ways some of you girls w/o dandruff do to keep it that way. Thx:)

First use a dandruff shampoo and most doctors recommend Selsun Blue truth be known.

Use that and rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse until you are sure there's no more shampoo.

Have you thought of lightening your hair some or frosting it to help conceal the problem?

If Selsun Blue doesn't work-- see a dermatologist for a prescription shampoo and maybe medications.

hey

uhh do you mean shampoo? cause you're NOT supposed to put soap in your hair.

for the dandruff, use T-Gel as a regular shampoo. the dandruff will subside in 7 days, guaranteed.

screw the girls who spread that rumor about you. i'd take care of the dandruff problem so that people don't think you have lice, even though you don't.

make sure after you shampoo & condition, just run your fingers through your hair while running under water for a few minutes before stepping out.

another thing is, maybe you're putting TOO much shampoo which is damaging your scalp, and therefore causing lots of dandruff. make sure it's not more than the size of a quarter on the palm of your hand if you have medium - length hair. if it's long, maybe like a dollar coin.
