If you have been prescribed this medication you should not stop taking it unless a doctor has advised you to. You have to take them regularly and in the suggested dose to properly control your asthma. Failure to do so could have serious consequences on your health and well being.
If you are having weight issues, are you able to exercise enough or is the asthma preventing you? Does your diet need to be looked at?
If your asthma is getting in the way of leading a normal life, you may need the dose adjusted. Keep in mind that it can take up to a month to notice a change.
If you have a medical condition it's usually best to consult your doctor about exercising and they should be able to give you guidance about a suitable regime. [ isis's advice column | Ask isis A Question ]
AskJR answered Tuesday May 1 2007, 5:33 pm: Steriods help the weight gain if taken enough but Adviar is so little amount I wouldn't think so.
Go to the Advair website and read about it and side effects.
christina answered Tuesday May 1 2007, 5:27 pm: I don't think so. If you have questions about the pill, either see the site, or talk to your doctor. If you're unable to lose weight, you could have a slow metabolism, but if you'd like a diet plan, see a nutrionist. =) [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
