I VALUE YOUR OPINION: Lucy was sitting at the dining room table with her cousin Patsy. Patsy turned to Lucy and said: Lucy you are a size in 8 in clothes; Lucy said; Yes I am, why; Patsy replied; I THOUGHT YOU ARE a size 8. I am cleaning out my bedroom closet, however, I couldnt remember if you told me you are a size 8 or 10.; The next day Lucy told her friends what her cousin said and asked; do you think my cousin thinks I am higher than a size 8; All her friends said to her; Lucy no your cousin does not think you are a higher than a size 8; MY QUESTION: Do you agree with Lucys friends?
Lucys friends are right. Patsy didn't say "You are a size 10", she was pretty sure that Lucy was an 8, just making sure. No hidden meaning there, Patsy was just asking an innocent question. [ xokristabelle's advice column | Ask xokristabelle A Question ]

It's not that big of a difference, so Lucy's feelings shouldn't be hurt over the question. [ Shortcake22's advice column | Ask Shortcake22 A Question ]

The difference between a size 8 and a size 10 isn't that much at all. It doesn't really sound like that big of a deal that your cousin didn't know if you were a size 8 or ONE SIZE bigger than an 8.

I wouldn't take it personally; I think Patsy was just asking an honest question and didnt mean for Lucy to think that she was saying that she was a size 10.
