You have five days in which to do this so that first of all is wonderful. When it comes to writing anything at all when you feel you have no idea what to write or how to even word something STOP.

Don't think about the assignment for a while and then come back to that piece of paper later on when you feel ready and are not stressed about doing it. You'll find that your head will be clear, your thoughts flowing and you will be able to write what you need to and succeed.

Try it a little bit at a time until you fill the page with a creative story. You have five days so keep coming back to it. This is what I do and I write articles for publication regularly.

If I'm stuck on an idea or a lead paragraph I go and do something else for a while and come back to my assignment refreshed. Take your time as you have 5 days and that's excellent.

Also, try sleeping on this too as your brain has a habit of always giving you ideas in the morning after waking up because it's always processing ideas you were last thhinking of when awake.

When it comes to a creative topic you should ask what facinates me? or what if questions about the future, disasters etc or what if we went to mars etc. to try and come up with a good idea.

Also, try taking a piece of paper and draw little balloons with ideas and things, objects even that are not connected to eachother and try to link them together and do something interesting with them.

Look at your dreams at night and what you're doing in them or the ones that frighten you and address your fears in a creative way in a story.

I know you will do just fine and your imagination will kick in if you relax and follow the steps above about coming back to this assignment repeatedly over the next five days to work on it bit by bit. You'll be able to write 10 times easier once you remove the stress from this.

Write about an out of body character that goes through really horrible crap, but makes it out alright. Not only is there a moral to the story, but it'd be interesting too. =) Good luck, and have fun!
