boredom.

Question Posted Tuesday April 10 2007, 7:08 pm

i know this sounds really stupid but i get bored a lot. and i usually end up spending a lot of time on the computer when i do. I don't want to spend so much time on the computer but it seems like everytime i get bored there is nothing else i can do. i finish my homework, read, practice cello, eat dinner, listen to music... etc. but i still run out of things to do and have a lot of extra time. what are some other productive thingsi could do besides getting on the computer and watching tv? thanks!

Hey.
Iam exactly the same.. I always have nothing to do and my mom an dad tell me off for spending so much time on the computer and watching TV. But what i do is read a book or magazines. I know reading a book is like so much hard work, but trust me, if you find a reall good book to read the time will fly. Try going out into town with your friends or invite them round for a sleepover orsomething. What about try doing something nwe on your computer like make a colage with all of your best friends in on paint? There are lots of difet things that you can do. You cold also go onto:

Talk on the phone. Go to the store. Find a job [if you're old enough], re-do your MySpace if you've got one.

hey

first of all, you are QUITE lucky you have so much extra time on your hands! i can barely get done with all my homework & shower & eat dinner and all that jazz before 8:00!

maybe you should consider joining a sport or after-school activity to use up some extra time.

it's really good that you recognized this problem instead of just going on the computer.

or, if you don't want to join a club / sport in april, just grab a book or take a nap. if you feel tired, PLEASE feel free to take a long, 2-3 hour nap if you have that much time on your hands. it really makes you feel refreshed.

something more constructive would be to give advice to advicenators :]

you are soo LUCKY.
