Hey.

Everyone has good and bad days in there life, i am sure you have and i have too. But in this situation i would try and have a good nights sleep and yes do ring your aunt and get her to think of things (not sure what) possibly like...
ask her what she is doing this week and try and make a friendly convosation. I am sure most of your family do miss your cousin alot but you all need to move on a little and yes i know it is hard and might take some time to get used to and things but it should all be fine. You could tell her a joke or two to cheer her up and things.
Any more advice..don't hesitate to ask me.
I would also love to hear how it goes!

I am so sorry to hear of your aunt's sad heart. How hard it must be to have lost her son. You are very loving to want to cheer her up. Doing something for her that is fun and cheerful is a wonderful way to make her happy, but happiness is temporary. What she needs is joy. Unlike happiness, joy does not depend on happenings. Joy comes from knowing Jesus in a personal way.

If your aunt already knows Jesus, she needs to be reminded how much Jesus loves her and knows her grief. If she does not know Jesus, the best thing you can do for her is read passages from the bible that points her to the Savior who loves her. Here are some examples:

Psalm 34:18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life!" Jesus answered.

Hebrews 13:5 ....for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

Your aunt is very blessed to have you.
