trimspa questions..

Question Posted Monday April 9 2007, 6:36 pm

okay, II'm thinking about buying some trimspa ...I have a few questions about it....there are thirty pills in the box and it says four diet pills a day is recommened, the three is the miminum. So, that's about ten days worth if I take three a day. Now, in those ten days, will I lose weight/?????????//
I'm thinking about taking the diet pills about eleven days before my prom...the 28th... Will the weight loss show by then?
Has anyone taken this diet pill? Does it work? Please help me....
when should I take it? and what should I eat while I'm taking the diet pills? I'm totally new to taking diet pills.
Also..this might be a stupid question...but will diet pills show up in urine drug tests?

And I know that I shouldn't be taking them because of my lukeimia, but I'm just inquiring about it...

i don't know much about those kind of pills but i do know that they really do say results not typical just as the person above me said. i'm not sure on this but i assume they just pack it with ginseng, caffiene, guarana and other things that boost your metabolism. the reason that you would have to take three a day is so you don't have a hardcore crash which is what you would have the day before/of prom. all of the being hyper and manic would make you move around more and lose weight. i would NOT suggest it at all. that's just my opinion though.

Some really good points have been made so far, but here's something else:

If you look at a trimspa ad or probably the box they come in, it'll say "results not typical". It says this on every diet/weight loss supplement out there. Basically that means that, sure, if COULD work...but probably not.

Basically, diet pills aren't worth your time. It's best to do it the old fashion way by eating healthy and exercising. This way has more advantages:

-The results will be better with exercise...you'll tone your muscles and get a very nice shape
-You'll feel much prouder about yourself losing the weight on your own
-The results are long term as long as you stick with it. On diet pills, unless you plan on taking them forever, once you go off them the weight just packs back on

If it helps any, I lost 30lbs on Atkins in about 3 months. I went from 163lbs to 133lbs. I got sick of meat and eggs and cheese and switched to a low calorie plan (1200 at first, and now I just watch what I eat once I got used to low-cal) and I managed to get down to 128lbs and maintained that weight. After Atkins I also began a simple exercise regimen of 20 minutes on the treadmill 5 times a week and squats/lunges/crunches/arm work/etc that has helped me tone up some problem areas. I have a great sense of accomplishment about what I did...especially since I'm only 17. I'm glad I lost the weight when I did.

Good luck on the weight loss endeavor!

Well I wanted to try diet pills a couple months back btu they arent good.
They really can screw up your bosy.
I have asked my doctotr and he told me about all the negative effects it can have on your body.
The weight will come back right away.
Also,More important than the possible Trim Spa side effects is the fact that some diet pills can be detrimental to your long term health. You can end up in worse shape than you were to begin with, and put the fat back on quicker for the following reasons:

1. A significant proportion of the weight that you lose in the early stages of dieting is water and lean muscle. Only a small amount of the lost weight is fat. This means your muscles get smaller and as a result you lose part of your body's natural ability to burn fat.

2. Artificial appetite suppression is not healthy. It is merely a temporary fix to fool your body into thinking you're full, and actually sets off mechanisms which can damage your long term health.

3. When you stop taking certian diet pills, your weight will quickly return to what it was except this time you have more fat tissue and less muscle tissue.

Although these diet pills can help you lose weight in some cases, the negative effects on your body offset the temporary weight loss you might experience.

Also, each time you diet it becomes harder to lose the weight and you will gain more when you stop the dieting. You have certainly seen the results of people who diet on a regular basis... it's almost always the same.

May i suggest just diet and exercise.
This way you will lose the weight and keep it off...
Diet pill are never the answer.
Do it the safe way.
