sweaty hands

Question Posted Monday April 9 2007, 3:28 am

i have sweaty hands all the time! It's not at any one point, or when I feel any one specific emotion. It just randomly occurs, occuring often that is :(

I have been able to cope with it for awhile, but i feel extremly awkward when even holding hands with my partner. During a long kiss she will caress my face or play with my hair. It is somthing I am afraid to do back to her because my hands. I don't want to mess the moment up or make her feel uncomfortable or awkward. If we both are sweaty things are a bit easier, I can rub my hands on my jeans or shirt fast to dry them and then proceed to feel her, but I hesitate from touching her face or any part of her for that matter when we are just kissing.

Is there a good way to solve this problem. I want to be able to caress her and make her feel loved while we kiss, not just when we're both already hot :-(

advicenator girls: would'nt you feel awkward if your lover was touching you excessivly with sweaty hands

thanks in advance
-Corey

Drysol.
You probably have over-productive sweat glands. Don't worry this is NOT serious and is fairly common. Just ask me. :) Take a visit to your doctor to ask about Drysol. (There are other brands availble, like Certain Dri but Drysol is popular.)

This is a chemical you apply to your palms, armpits or feet overnight. You apply it about every night until your sweating goes down, then gradually work your way to every two weeks.
It will stop your palms from sweating. Trust me, this is a great solution.

There is really no way to solve it.
Baby powder helps a little bit but its kind of messy and you have to make sure its rubbed in real well. If it doesn't work I would just stay clear of her face, unless you only use your fingertips because your palms are ususally the sweaty part. Also you can play with her hair because you can't feel sweat through your hair or head. And also anywhere when she has clothes on, like rub her back or her leg.

actually, sweaty hands don't bother me. there is honestly nothing you can do about this, except be in a cold place? it's all in your mind though, just because you are thinking about it and focusing on making them not sweaty. just try to relax and forget about it. because, i'm sure, when you're home at night eating.. they're not sweaty. i use to have that thing- sweaty when i'm around ANYBODY. but, i just forgot about it? and it's gone. really, trust me. :)
