absent period
Im 14. Started my period when I was about 12 maybe. I think I had normal periods, but after awhile I started getting them every other month. The last time I had one was awhile ago ( 2 months or so ) and even then..it wasnt really like blood. it looked like dry blood..kinda brownish. Is it normal because Im 14? I do masterbate/orgasm but I dont think that has to do with it. Is there anyway that could have messed it up?
Also, my boobs have been hurting pretty bad lately. They normally hurt if I like push them in, but now it just feels stronger I guess. Could is be from wearing a bra to much? does it have anything to do with absent periods?
Also, Im not sexually active.
I dont really want to go to a doctor just yet because Im not that concerned yet, but if it continues, I will go. So please dont advise me to do so.

honey, you gotta talk to your mom. just so you know i am 13, and i swear to high heaven that i'm not lying. Your breasts hurting may just be a sign of getting your monthlies. i get over emotional. an irregular period is just your track trying to stabalize itself. i remember i got my monthly and then didn't get it again for six months. it's nothin to worry about. however, no matter how hard it may be, talk to your mom about it. she will know more about it than i do. trust me, your mom wants to be involved in your life. so tell her. she can help

First off, masterbation has nothing to do with this situation. So you don't have to worry about that.
I'm the same age, and I have some of these situations happening to me. It's caused by irregular periods, all of us young girls and women have them. You will have them for quite a while, and even some older women tend to have occasinal irregular periods.
Unless you have the wrong bra size, your bra has nothing to do with your problem. If you're having this problem while on your period, your period could be the cause. If not and the pain is too severe, it may be something serious. But in my opinion, I would say it's just some normal pains. I get them myself.

Your periods will be irregular until you're about 21. It's nothing to worry about at all. And your sore breasts probably aren't from wearing a bra too much, it's because you're wearing the wrong bra. Next time you buy a new bra, get yourself professionally fitted and that will help ease the pain.

Since you just started, it's still gonna be weird. Mine skipped up to 3 months and then later (a few years) it regulated out. Give it time. :) About your boobs.. try sleeping without a bra for a few days. Because your period really has nothing to do with your bra.

Don't worry about it. I get my period every other month too, and i've had my period just as long. You may not get a regular menstral period for another year or so, its differnt for every girl. So don't worry about it, nothing is wronge with you.

I'd like to say that this may be because your body is still adjusting to having your period and/or your body is still growing. Usually right before a period your breasts get tender so that may be the cause, but honestly your best bet is to go see your doctor. I know thats not what you want to hear but better safe than sorry.
