does waxing hurt? would it hurt if you waxed under your arms? i've never waxed anywhere before so are there any brands out there that would make waxing hurt less?
lbwhite89 answered Saturday April 7 2007, 8:16 pm: I'm not sure about brands, but waxing hurts no matter which body part it's on...some places more than others.
The least painful is probably eyebrows...most is probably pubic hair (OUCH). The arm pits are pretty sensitive, so I think it would be pretty painful.
orphans answered Saturday April 7 2007, 7:03 pm: none will hurt less theyre all about the same but you can buy some oils to ease it a bit, but im not sure if they always work
if your only gonna do your underarmss, then you could pluck it maybe, because its a small space and then the pain wont be all at once, it will be less and seperated
i wax everything so you can just ask me any more info, but all brands are about the same
but beginning by plucking is what i did because after a few times, it begins to hurt less.
but if you wanna get it waxed all at once, it will feel like people are pinching you 100 times in a square inch, so if your gonna wax go to a salon! but otherwise, just try plucking maybe i think its better but everyone has their own opinions. you might just wanna get it over with!

I think it feels quite nice lol but if the wax is really hot, it stings more.
