I accidently whacked my friend in the head with my badminton racket! There's like a redish spot-like bump on her forehead, kinda looks like blood is trying to explode out of her skin! Is it serious? Is it just a bruise? Will she be ok?

She may be a little concussed if it was quite a hard hit, too. If that's the case, a little trip to a doctor would be wise, just to be certain there's no further damage.
I wouldn't worry about it. I've had a bad concussion and been checked out. It took a while to feel 100% but I was fine.
It normally needs to be quite a big blow to the head to be something very serious.
Just look out for signs, like vomiting, fuzzy vision, lack of balance etc, If that happens it's time to seek medical help.

1.) put some ice on it. this will subside the pain.
2.) it's probably just a bruise
3.) yeah she will probably just experience a really bad headache of some sort- advil will help the headache.
in the worst case, if it doesn't heal within 24-48 hours, i'd check out a doctor :] but just keep the ice there
