My dad's making me start tennis this summer, and i don't really have a choice, so, ya. Anyway, I'm pretty athletic, I play soccer, volleyball, basketball, and I take a dance class once a week. So do you have any tips on some basic things for tennis? Like anything. I don't want to look like a retard when I go to the camp thing.
Thanks!
P.S. Does anyone know if they care if i wear earrings? thanks!

- bend your knees when you hit the ball
- make sure your racquet starts down and swing up
- when you hit with your backhand, try to makesure your right foot is forward
- when your hiting your forehand make sure your left foot is forward.
- I wouldn't recommend wearing earings, unless they are studs
- I know thats alot, but some of the stuff I just told you, you won't learn for months, but I can guarantee you will learn the 2nd point the first day you get there
And also, you should really try to talk to your dad if you really don't want to, it sounds like you don't.
And earrings I'm not sure, it probably depends on who you're playing with/where you're playing. Some people care, some people say its your own fault if they get in the way. Good luck, hope I helped. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
