ok so like im reading a magazine. and im thinking about love and guys. duhh. lol so i was just wondering like what do you guys like in girls? like i know this question is always asked. but im going to give stuff and you guys can answer me.
+ do you find it annoying if the girl is clutzy or is falling sometimes or alot?
+do you care if she wears designer clothing?
+what do you look for as a gift? liek for your b-day
+do you get mad if a girl wraps the present really nicely? or if its hard to unwrap it
+do you hate it if the girl is smarter than you?
+ do you care if the girl is chubby?
+ or if she sucks in her stomach? so it looks like shes skinny
+or how she always has to look good?
+ if she has love handles? or really really small ones?
+ if shes really athletic?
+ or not at all?
+ if shes blonde? (like brains wise)
Additional info, added Thursday April 5 2007, 5:32 pm: ok i was also wondering. do you think its really cute if we wear your clothes? like your hoodie or something?
alos if we spill something on our clothes.. would you give us a pair of your b-ball shorts or pajamas to wear? because our pants got wet or something?
also do you liek it when a girl creates her gifts or cards? or would you rather have a store bought item?. Want to answer more questions in the Relationships category? However, heres my take on this stuff (this is a personal answer, in no way representative of my entire gender):
1. Not really. Probably highly amusing.
2. Not in the slightest. Wouldnt even recognise them.
3. Something I can use, that fits with my hobbies. Preferably not symbolic.
4. No I think we all can appreciate the extra effort. However, its not that big a deal to me.
5. Definately not hate. Probably would like it, but cant say for sure. The real question is, would I ever admit to myself that she really was smarter lol? Probably not if I am to be honest.
6. No. I prefer a bit too chubby rather than a bit too skinny.
7. Sucking in the stomach all the time would probably result in me joking around a bit with her (in a friendly way).
8. The "always has to look good" part I have come to accept as a fact of life. When I was younger I thought it was ridiculous to care about appearance so much. Now I figure, well whatever does it for you.
9. Dont care all that much about small love handles.
10. Athletic could be good. Just not marathon runner athletic if you know what I mean.
11. Not at all athletic would result in a conflict of interest. It would be nice if she was somewhat into physical activities.
12. That could get tiresome in the long run. Applies to both sexes actually.
Extra stuff:
1. Dont really think its cute. Dont really think its not cute either though.
2. Sure, though the size might be a bit off.
3. I can appreciate the effort of a homemade gift and all that, but as I said earlier Im not all that big on symbolism. Unless of course your homemade gift is a batch of fresh cookies or muffins or something. Now theres something one can put to good use :)
4. Either way, I would most like something that I can enjoy in some way or another. Rather than look at and go "awwww how cute".
christina answered Thursday April 5 2007, 5:27 pm: I'm not a guy, [although I am bisexual] but I'm going to answer like one. I was a tomboy for many years of my childhood, so I know how they think most of the time.
[1] Sort of. I mean, it's okay sometimes, and can be kinda funny, but when it happens to much it can get on someone's nerves.
[2] Nope. As long as she's clean & dresses nice, that's fine. I don't need name brands to impress me. Your clothes can be cute without being expensive & having a name on it.
[3] No. I honestly like it when people wrap my things. It makes it more of a surprise, and I end up liking it more in the end, and if a girl can wrap nice, you know she takes her time & is neat.
[4] Sometimes. I'd like a girl to be smart, but when a girl is too smart, it's a turn off because then I feel dumb. I'd like to think we'd be equally as intelligent as the other.
[5] Nope. A girl doesn't have to be thin to be beautiful. I actually think that someone's imperfections make them beautiful. There's is no such thing as perfect, so I like flaws. No one will ever be perfect. And I don't expect it.
[6] Yeah. If she's trying too hard to be skinny, then it can be a turn off. I mean, I'm sure she wants to look nice, but going to drastic measures such as making herself cut her breathing off to look thinner is a little extreme. I don't care if they're skinny or chunky. More to love!
[7] A girl doesn't always have to look good & dress herself up & do her make up and hair. A girl can be pretty with sweats & messy hair with no makeup. She'd be just as pretty, and it wouldn't matter to me any less.
[8] Love handles are nothing. Lots of girls have them.
[9] I think athletic girls are more fun because you can do more with them. You can play sports together instead of always sitting around & watching tv or something.
[10] If she's not athletic, that's cool too. Sports aren't for everyone.
[11] I have my blonde moments too, so it's fine. =) I think they're pretty funny & can spice the relationship up because they give you a good laugh. As long as she's not a total airhead, then it's cool.
I'd also like to stress this a bit: I hang out with guys, so I know how my friends think, but not all guys think this way. Some guys are shallow & always go for looks rather than a girls personality, so don't think that every guy is gonna be like this. They're not. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
DrPlayer answered Thursday April 5 2007, 5:22 pm: I just think it's kind a weird if a girl is a klutz. Not really designer clothing but I like brand name. Don't really care about a present as much as spending time with the girl. Like I said presents don't really matter. No, I like girls smarter than me as long as they look good. Personally I prefer girls that are not skinny but you know athletic build. I really like athletic girls. Hair does not really matter in a girl. Hope I answered your questions.
