straightening hair?
ok so heres the deal. at 8 pm, i take a shower and let it air dry. at 10, i straighten it and it takes about 15-20 minutes because i have a really good straightener even though i have the tightest curls ever. i straighten my hair at night because in the mornings (before school) i dont have enough time to straighten my hair. i go to sleep with my bangs clipped back and i dont ponytail it because i get this crease in the mornings. when i wake up, its like half wavy but i dont mind because it only takes 5 minutes to fix that. the problem is, my hair ends up smelling funny (like i didnt wash it or something) and its kinda greasy. its probably from when i sweat while i sleep--my question is--what can i do to eliminate this odor, i take showers daily and i am a very clean person but i hate this smell in the mornings after i straighten my hair!

well for one, you shouldnt straighten your hair that much it burns it, and the starightner may casue the odor. I also ALWAYS get this and i hate it, it smells real bad and i dnt know what to do. Maybe you should try new styles instead of just straightening it. I also have VERY curly hair, and ive changed my style alot which makes my hair smell like it did wen i got out of the shower. hope that helps

Maybe the odor comes from the sraightening iron. Listen, try to do different hair variaties. If you keep doing what your doing know, youll damage your hair alot. I think you should try it.

You can try a good smelling spray. most likely its just cause when theres oil in your hair from sleeping and you straighten it and it seals it in and burns it a litlle. hope i helped

ok question, do you use a heat protection spray on your hair? because if you don't maybe that is whats causing the smell, because your hair could be burning when you are straightening it. or what i do is i have this really good smelling product that i use in my hair, its kind of like an oil but its not that greasy it leaves your hait smelling amazing and shiny. i put some in before i straighten my hair and a bit when im done. try using something like that, i use Profumo Capelli Spray, but i don't really know where you could get that cause my mom bought it at T.J.Maxx, i don't knoe if any other stores sell it.

I put body spray in my hair sometimes to make it smell extra good. Sounds weird, but it works.

Some hair sprays are made to smell good. Get something like that.
Or you can buy some body spray from bath and body works and spray it on your hair, and your body. Smells amazing :)
