I know it's hard to have one without the other, so that's why I'm aiming for both. I have high-self-esteem. I never try to blend or anything like that because what makes me feel so great about myself is knowing I'm not typical. I do lack confidence in some areas. I'm afraid that people will think I'm a snob or not sincere, so I'm very humble, but I'm convinced that people are taking that as a sign that I don't value myself. To have confidence in myself: what would you suggest?

-Friendly
-Helpful
-Kind
to everyone. Take credit when it is deserved, but be modest. And dont be afraid to show your insecurities. Always be sincere. No one will think your a snob if you don't act like it.
justaguy01 answered Monday April 2 2007, 7:41 pm: you may not like this but the question is not what they think its what you feel. Confidence isnt bad but over confidence is just as bad. you need to figuir how much confidence you need to make yourslef happy and then maybe maybe maybe what makes it so people dont look at you like that. Minimum=you Maximum=them people are usually good at seeing people when they mess up but not when they do good. that last line take it as you will whether that will help you not. I hope this helped you. [ justaguy01's advice column | Ask justaguy01 A Question ]
