Mascara

Question Posted Friday March 30 2007, 9:02 pm

So i heard that using mascara can damage your eyelashes and make them fall out...

is this true????

Are there any (good) mascaras (that i can get frmo a drugstore) that really add a lot of volume to lashes?? preferably an undamaging one (conditioning??)

well all the other girls recommended really good mascaras so i won't recommend any to you. but about the falling out thing. i know that mascara doesn't cause your eyelashes to fall out, but sometimes eyelash curlers can. so be careful if you do use an eyelash curler if you already have mascara on your lashes because then they can stick to the curl and you can pull them out by accident.

mascara DOESN'T damage your eyelashes. It only volumizes it and makes it look nicer.

I use volume by loreal, or the shisedo mascara. They're both really reliable, but the shiseido one might be a bit expensive at 20$+.

I use this really good mascara from Almay. It lengthens, curls & thickens. And it adds a ton of volume. It's my favorite mascara & I've had it almost a year. It works really well. =) I guess it's called "Triple Effect" or something like that. It's in a white bottle, and it's got silver on the top & the writing is in silver. It doesn't smudge at all either.

Also, whoever told you your eyelashes fall out when you use mascara is an idiot because they don't. I've used possibly 10 or more different mascaras until I found the one I've got now, and my eyelashes have never fallen out. The reason why I switched so much was because they didn't give me the volume I was looking for.
