Unfortunately, my dad's side of the family is cursed with extremely overproductive sweat glands. My cousins, my brother, and I all have tons of overproductive sweat glands which mean I've tried EVERYTHING. And I mean everything.
The Secret deodorants, the regular ones, don't stop me from sweating and their scents aren't great. Their scents don't last that long and they did little for sweat control.
Then there's Ban deodorants which I loved. Except for the fact they didn't stop all the sweat. There was a great smell the entire day and the only problem was sweat marks ):
After, I tried Secret Clinical Strength and it finally worked for me. Because I sweat more than the average person, I still sweated a bit after a run and excercising. But that's much better than a soaked tee shirt armpit area! Talk about embarassing. It worked pretty well, considering...

It depends on how long your cycle is. Cycles vary from 3-8 days, but it's different for every girl.
Chances are, your period will be gone by the time you get on vacation. But worst comes to worst, the day you go on vacation, your period will be ending and you won't need to worry about anything.
Just make sure if you're wearing a swimsuit, check your butt occasionally for any mishaps!

Usually, it's not the clothing. Even if girls wear more revealing clothes, guys will never think of them more than just a conquer. It's the confidence in what you wear. Sure, it's definitely good to buy clothing that fits really well on you to make you look good or stylish, but to look the best, you need to sell it. Look confident in what you wear. Which is why some girls wear more girly clothing because they know they look their best in those clothes. Knowing that makes them trust their clothes and their confidence shines through. Guys like girls who have that different personality.

So in about 2 weeks i am graduation from grade 8, and we are having this dance for only grade 8's. This dance is going to be formal, and I want to wear a dress, but not something that would be too formal.

This is the week of the memorial sales, and Nordstrom is having an incredible sale on dresses for their juniors section. Dresses on sale are classy yet summery and not too formal, although it is hard to find the right size.
Since your price range is up to 80$, Nordstrom would have a lot of non-sale dresses that are even better.
BCBG Maxazria is having a sale as well, and there a couple of cute dresses in your price range.
DEFINITELY look at urban outfitters. There are a ton of dresses in your price range that are casual, summery, yet a bit formal in the sense for your 8th grade grad.
Worst comes to worst, you have to order online. But this is your 8th grade grad!

i have this science teacher,and he well....CREEPS ME OUT!!!! like in a sexual mannor. i know its not that big of a deal, but its really bad for me!! all my friends dont like him either. and once, he asked me to read a paragraph from the book, and i was so creeped out, that my voice was a little shaky, then he let me get a drink of water for my throat, and once i was out of the room, and away from him, i was fine. i seriously dont know what to do. i dont want to be afraid of him anymore becuase i have him for the rest of the year. The thing is, if you feel this way, always trust your instincts. This teacher may not intentionally act sexually to you or he is. The only thing you can do is act normally and if he tries to make a move on you, tell your parents or report it to your principal. Sadly, I can't help you much, but you might want to sit not all the way in the back but near there. And you might want to switch teachers next semester.

Ok so labor day picnics are filled with junk food. I did a bit of checking around & the one I'm going to is going to have the basic burger & hotdog deal. I want to really stick to my diet so I was thinking of definiately planning ahead. Since it's going to be in the afternoon, I was going to eat a bowl of cereal like I normally do for breakfast & then at the picnic I was going to take one burger and put a bit of ketchup to dip into on the side, no bun & no cheese. Then I was going to have corn on the cob with no butter & no salt. Would the burger with a bit of ketchup be overloading it?? I'm a very light eater. Does anyone know accurate nutrition facts?? I was told it was approximately 280 calories with 13g of fat. Any ideas/opinions?? Thanks!! (link)

Usually, many people think that most burgers are stereotypically fattening. But that isn't true. It depends on what you put into the burger, and other things. For burgers, try to look for leaner burgers, and instead of eating a fattening bun, you can substitue the buns with lettuce. The burger is protein, and you should add lettuce, tomato, any vegetable or even onions. It is alright to put ketchup, because ketchup is pretty healthy. I would recommend Heinz Light Ketchup with 33% less fat calories then original ketchup. For hotdogs, they are pretty fattening, considering that hotdogs aren't always very lean. Try to eat portions, not chug everything at one time and eat your last food at least 30min before you leave. Try to walk around a lot. Its smart to eat the corn on the cob with no butter and salt, you should make sure that the person who cooks the corn doesn't add any fattening things like butter to it when cooking. Just ask for a plain corn on the cob. A lot of the times, labor day picnics also have chicken and thats good as well. Try to lay off the fries, limit yourself to 3 or 4. You can't really accurately say how many calories there will be in the food, because different people add different things that give it different calories. Don't worry much! Just keep track of what you eat-- and you should be fine. You won't gain 5 pounds from labor day!

Probably Walmart, because they have a lot of back to school sales and have shirts that have funny sayings on them that most students like. Or you can try Bobby Jack, which is sold at macy's, nordstrom, mervyns, almost everywhere which has really cute tees. You can just find tons of shirts in little stores around the mall-- just keep looking! good luck.

You just need to do daily stretches. When you wake up, do the hamstring/stand up, put your legs about 1 1/2 feet apart and bend down and try to reach the ground. if you can't, just keep trying. You can also try the butterfly/sitting down putting your 2 feet together so your legs are like wings and v-sit/sitting down with your legs apart 1 1/2 inches and trying to touch your toes. Find other stretches and do this every morning, every time you run and every night. You'll gradually see your flexibility increase!

Bring healthy snacks of your own and share them with your friends. The way to control yourself is also to split your food intake with portions. You walk in, take 1 candy, play a little bit, take another or 2 candies, drink some water, play, take another, leave. In the end, you should have only taken 5. Even though you're always going to want more, but thats natural. Better than taking a bunch and feeling like a pig!

Well its obvious. There is something wrong here. Your boyfriend is too fixated on himself to pay attention to you. Or, he doesn't think you're worth it. And you're not asking for much-- you just want what your boyfriend should AT LEAST do. Have a little courtesy to take you out once in a while. You should dump him. Even if you really "love" him. If he doesn't love you as much as he loves himself, your relationship is doomed. If he REALLY needed the money, maybe he would've just sat you down and told you what he wanted. If you feel like giving him a second chance, you can confront him. But when you confront him with his "problem", don't overreact. Just ask him rationally, why when you walked into his room, you found new porn stuff. Maybe it was friend's. But if it happens again, you should just dump him. No guy is worth it if he doesn't even love you as much as his porn.

Im going to a private school next year for the first time, and i have to wear uniforms which is basicly a skirt and a collored shirt. We have to have our socks showing, but not like all the way to our knees. My question is, what do people usually wear for shoes?! I wanted to just wear flats, but socks with them would look pretty weird. And i dont want to wear tennis shoes because that would look ugly. They say the color has to be black brown white or blue... and i have no idea what people wear! any help!? I start school Monday. (link)

I go to a private school, i've been going for my whole life from pre-k. Never wear shoes with your heel showing, don't wear heels, and no flip flops (sadly). You can wear flats, but you MUST wear socks, which means you might want to buy like Vans or something. just try to keep them low key. My school says that i have to wear school color shoes, but no one does in my school. I don't know if thats the same for yours, you should go to the school and ask. You can wear regular tennis shoes. Just wear regular shoes you'd wear at a public school. Nike, Adidas, K-Swiss, Vans, Keds. Just don't wear flashy shoes, no open toe shoes.

I've never even heard of TopShop till you posted it! It's such a fabulous store-- 55 euro coats are 79$ in the US. 1 Euro = about 1.4 $
I'm pretty sure ordering from Top Shop should be pretty safe, because supposedly, 6000 jeans are purchased a day- with that many orders, the reputation should be good.

American Eagle has good jeans. They have all sorts, including skinny. You can also try Pacsun where they sell bullhead jeans that aren't too expensive and are pretty good quality. You can also go to Hollister or Abercrombie for some, but those are 50$.
The ones at AE and Pacsun are about 40$

Bed bath and beyond sells a lot of great comforters at an affordable price, they offer the leopard print comforter and some other comforters. Pottery barn is more of a plain color like your brown, black, white and pink, but its more expensive and more intricate. You can also try JCPenny which sells the zebra comforter along with other items to go along with it-- there is also Macy with their bedding and bath sale that offers a lot of Ralph Lauren bedding with a mix of brown and pink and other color comforters.

14/f i've been talking to this guy for like over a month ans we've liked each other for like ever. a few weeks ago he told me he loved me and i said it back becauses i do. well he usually calls at night between 8-11. and he hasnt for three days. im begining to think hes lost interest but why would he just stop all of a sudden? i've tried calling him but the line was busy. im going to try again tonight but don't know how to sneak that in there. i mean i dont wanna just say why havent you called me? or anything cuz that could seem to clingy. please help. i love this kid and want to be with him more than anything. Basically, guys aren't always like girls. Sometimes, they just need some space and you two are going into a phase. He might think you're moving too fast so he doesn't like intensity. It might not be a good idea to talk to him everyday, but at least once in two days instead of one if he still stops calling. But if he starts to call a lot again, its fine.
For the conversation, just start off normally and let him talk. After a while, say "Hey, I haven't talked to you in a while, where've you been?" And just slowly try to talk to him about why he hasn't called you. good luck.

Many people say that because it happens in the shower, but that's not true. In the shower, it just stops the blood a little bit for the small period of time you're in the shower. But in the swimming pool, you'll be in there longer. If your period begins to end or stop, you can go swimming because you wouldn't be able to see the blood-- since theres not that much, but you always have to wear tampons on the days before for insurance, better safe than sorry (:

Well, i'm not exactly sure how you want your hair specifically, but i'm going to give it a shot. You could always do a loose side ponytail with your bangs hanging down. You can take a curler and just do a little curl on the bangs for a bouncier look.
Or, you could do a messy bun with your bangs draped, covering some of your face and the other part of your bangs on the other side of your head. Then, as a finishing touch, stick a pair of chopsticks in your bun.
