Acne!!

I have acne. Help me get rid of it. What products can I use? Is there anything I should avoid eating? (I know, i know...don't pick...blah blah..) I just want to get things from Target/Rite Aid etc...I don't want to order anything like Proactiv

There's this thing called Acne Free that I buy--you can get it at Target or Wal Mart. It's three-step, like Proactiv, but better. I wash in the morning, when I get up, and before I go to bed. A consistent routine is essential.

I also talked to my doctor and was able to get some prescription topical antibiotics--if you're willing to take that step, it's pretty handy. Just ask about medications that can help take care of acne if it's giving you trouble.

hey

every night, just wash your face with a cleanser. scrub really well. and dry it. and DONT touch the pimples after you waash your face. do this 2-3 times daily (maybe once in the morning, once when you get back from school, once before you go to bed)

just a plainn cleanser. do this for like, a week. and the pimples WILL clear up. dont ever pick at a pimple. EVER. or "pop" them. they WILL get infected, take longer to go away, as well as leave horrible scars.

eat lots of fruits and veggies and no chips / sodas / cookies. no junk food.

drink water.

pHisoderm 4-Way Daily Acne Cleanser works very good for me. It has a cleaner, toner and acne fighter. You use it twice daily. It doesn't have alcohol so it won't irritate or burn your skin.


As for eating ..
1) Try to avoid as much as possible fried foods.

2) Avoid soft drinks and other high sugar articial juices like Kool-aid. Instead drink pure water or natural fruit and vegetable juices or skimmed milk ( if milk has no effect o­n your skin).

3) Eat lots of fruits and vegetables of different colors (strawberries and blueberries are great for the skin)

4) Instead of snacking o­n a candy bar or chips, snack o­n a piece of cheese with an apple or a low sugar oatmeal bar or a yogurt etc.

5) Read the labels o­n the cereals that you eat. 95 % of them are filled with sugar.

6) You can eat ( and should) lean protein at every meal but try to include lots of organic fish like grilled salmon which is delicious and great for the skin.

7) Drink lots of water. This is very important and in fact there is people who have found that drinking water alone gets rid of their acne.

You should ask your doctor if you could take a vitamin called Shark Cartilage. I know people who took that vitamin and their entire body cleared of it. It is something in your body that is trying to get out, that's why it is escaping through your skin. The body is trying to cleanse it's self. Peace

try acnefree.
tt's way less than proactive. it can work wonders. my brother used to have horrible acne & now his face is so clear & it looks way better.
i have a little bit of acne & when i used it, it's gone within a week & sometimes less.

chocolate & sugars are some things people say to stay away from, but seriously, they don't affect your acne AT ALL. =]
but what DOES is dairy products, so try not to eat alot of them.
