I just started indoor tanning. How often a week should I tan??

I go about 3 times a week. Usually when you start you want to make sure to go for no more than like 11 min. and work your way up to the full time.

Make sure to use lotion it always helps you not burn, but once you burn you might want to wait a good week before you go again or your skin will get really dry and it won't be comfortable.

Also, if you really want like your arms or stomach to get tan, try laying on your stomach, it might feel weird at frist, but try it, it usually helps tan your front side better cause you're right next to the lights!

OMG don't tan like that I would radther spray tan and look like a carrot that is sooooooooooo harmful to ur skin and if u ever see the movie final destanation 3 I swear you'll never tan like that again.

I'd say every other day till you get your base tan. Once you reach the color/shade you want, go 2-3 times a week to maintain it.

If your not burning then you should tan maybe every other day but if you getting a little or alot or red or pink then i would go maybe twice a week. I try to go every day but i wouldnt suggest that many unless you really want to get tan in a short amount of time which is my case. But just be careful only to increase by 2 minutes everytime if your not getting burnt or if you are then depending on how bad you get burnt then u need to decrease by 2 minutes for that time or stay the same until your body has gotten used to that long or strong of bed.

hey, well it depends on your skin color before you start tanning. meet up with a worker from the place and ask them these questions. they will know what the right thing to do is :].

I dont reccomend hollister babe's answer. It all depends on how fair your skin is. The darker you are, the smaller amount of time you should start with. And you wont see a difference the first few times, because the color has to set in. Start at 5 minium if your very fair skinned and just work your way up. Unless you need the color for a date in the near future, don't go every day of the week. Twice a week is more than sufficent. And once you get your desired color, you can skip a few weeks (in my case). Tanning is not to be taken lightly because it can lead to many skin diseases.

Try going about 4-5 times a week. If you go for about 15 minutes each time, wait a day or so after because you might burn. Always make sure you use lotion so it decreases your chances of burning.
