My youngestr sister has been so mean to me for some reason. We just went through like a family crisis and she is like meaner than she used to be to me. I don't know why though. Please help.

My advice to you is to sit her down (alone), and have a talk with her. In a calm manor, tell her how much you love her and you want to be close with her. And ask her why she's been acting the way she has, lately. You may be suprised at her reaction, she might really open up to you. :)

and say
whats wrong
you have been acting different and its not just affecting you
the family as well
and tell her that she needs to chage her attitude
she might open up to you

ask her if something is bothering her [ besides the family crisis. ] maybe one of her friends moved and she's upset.
tell her youre there for her if she needs you. don't be mean to her back; it will only make her more upset about whatever's bothering her.
ask her if she's mad at you.. and if she is, why? she might not even be mad at you; she's probably just taking her anger out on you.
you gotta be direct. buy her a small present, like if she likes chocolates buy her a box to make her feel better. tell her everything's gonna be okay about the family crisis.
i hope i helped, and if that doesn't work, just give her a little space to sort out her thoughts. sometimes, that's all that people need.
Annerszz_101 answered Saturday March 17 2007, 1:58 pm: Have you tried asking her? Maybe she's just taking her sadness from the crisis, and turning it into anger. Just bear with her, and just be nice to her. You've heard the saying, "kill her with kindness" [ Annerszz_101's advice column | Ask Annerszz_101 A Question ]
