I was just wondering if any of you really like, celebrate a year and a half anniversary with your boyfriend/girlfriend? If so, what are some cute, little gifts you get your significant other? You don't have to know anything about my boyfriend, just general answers for anyone would be fine. Or, do you think just spending the day together is enough? Thank you. =)

If he hasn't said anything about it, then just spend the day together. You don't have to do anything extravegant to celebrate. If he does want to celebrate and do something special for your aniversary, you should do something more secluded where it's just you two instead of a big crowd. For a gift you can make a scrapbook of your relationship so far, like pictures of you together and other things you've saved from your relationship, or just a book or CD he likes. Anyways Happy Anniversary, I hope I helped. [ DepthofHeart's advice column | Ask DepthofHeart A Question ]
varsity_prep_xo answered Friday March 16 2007, 5:10 pm: ask him about gifts. if he truly does not want anything, than don't get him anything and just spend the day with him.. maybe bake cookies. if a guy says he doesn't want anything he is pretty straightforward and would feel bad if you got him something since he might not get you anything. however, i think he'll probably want to exchange gifts. ideas: baseball hat for his favorite team, dvd of a movie he likes/you watch together (proabbly comedy).. or a dvd of a tv series he likes. maybe tickets to a concert for you and him to go to of a band he likes, or sports tickets for you and him of a team he likes. other cute ideas to spend the day are to have a picnic, go iceskating/rollerblading, go out to dinner, go swimming, or just cuddle together and watch a movie. hope this helps. sizzlinmandolin answered Friday March 16 2007, 3:01 pm: Definintely go on a date with him someplace. It doesn't have to be extravagent. As for a gift, you wanna do something that he will like, not something that just you will like a lot. It is for him after all. Most guys don't like "cute". They don't like being in pictures or being overly romantic and they'd rather that you bought them something they could use instead of made them something weird that they'd just throw on a shelf someplace and never really look at. If he's into video games, get him that game that he really wants. If he doesn't have a t-shirt for his favorite band get him one. Does he have their newest album? If he has a favorite team and doesn't have a hat or a t-shirt or anything supporting them get him something like that. So, basically, get him something boyish that he will really like. He'll appreciate that a whole lot more than just something cute. Definitely include something cute, like a card, with it, but don't just go for cute. Go for wow. You've been together for a year and a half. Cute isn't gonna cut it forever. It's time to get practical. Have a great time! [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
