I have had nausea(sp?) for so long . I cant do anything. I cant go to school, walk a round, or concentrate on anything. Is there anything over the counter that will make me vomit, just so cannot have this feeling any more? I am also dizzy so the combo. is a horrible one.
I have seen many differnt types of doctors and even had a CT scan, on my head. Nothing has been found AT ALL, and no medcations have worked.
If any one can give any kind of answer it will be greatly apperciated.
Thank you!
You do need to see a neurologist and a neurosurgeon as soon as you can. Do you have blurry vision? How long has this been going on? Do you feel any weakness? Any facial weakness? Any ringing in the ears?
From just the symptoms that you're describing of dizziness and nausea- and from your age you're describing classic hydrocephalus, which means that the ventricles in your brain (ie the spaces in your brain are expanded and causing increased pressure)- and you may need to have a VP (ventriculoperitoneal) shunt placed to relieve this pressure. There are some tests that are diagnostic- did you have a lumbar puncture?
I don't know what part of the country you're in but my mum is a neurologist and I know a lot of neurosurgeons that I can refer you to, but you really should get checked out right away.
Hope I can help in anyway. Do not hesitate to contact me.
To help, he takes Gravol. Something else that helps an upset stomach is crystallized ginger. You can buy it in bulk at the grocery store. Just eat a chunk, and it helps a lot. [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]

You probably don't have the stomach bug, but it still helps to drink a ton of gingerale/water & sprite. If you drink things with color, it won't go so well with your stomach, so you're supposed to drink things like that. Also, eat crackers. Your stomach isn't quite ready for real foods yet, so I would try crackers.
As for medicines that you can buy over the counter, I'd suggest "epicac." I'm not sure if I spelled it right, but you can try that. It helps you to vomit. I don't use it, but I know people who do use it. Try that, and I'd go to the hospital so they can run some more tests on you because something obviously isn't right, and it's interfering with your daily life. Could your nausea be due to anxiety or whatsoever?
I do know that consuming sour things will reduce nausea and make you feel better. Whenever you feel like puking, suck on something sour. Do you like dried, sour prunes? Try those. Or suck on sour sweets like lemonheads. Apply something such as vicks vapourub to your stomach or try taking a whiff of it when you feel like puking.
