Boys are confusing, does anyone know what this means?...

Question Posted Wednesday March 14 2007, 1:26 am

16/f

So there's this guy that I really like, and that I have liked since the beginning of the school year. I talk to him on a daily basis and we're pretty good friends.

The other day, I was sitting next to him and he got up out of his chair and blew in my ear, smiled, and walked away (to get something out of his bag, or something.)

Does this mean anything? it was kind of weird, but it's not the first time something like this has happened. He's been extremely touchy-feely towards me in general lately, and also has been open with me, (like telling me about how stressed he is and how he experimented with drugs to cope, which shows that he must trust me,) but he has a girlfriend, and while I thought their relationship was rocky for a while, they seem to have recovered. Is this a point towards, 'he likes me,' or am I looking into this too much?

Thanks!

Of course that means something! Its flirting! Even know he has a girlfriend, you never know. Maybe he wants you instead of her.

Guys do wierd things.. even if they have girlfriends. So just be extra flirty, and good luck :)

PS: I went through the EXACT same thing. Even the guy blew in my ear! We eneded up liking each other, he broke up with his gf. So good luck!!

Yes, guys are always doing stupid things like this. My best bet is that he's just flirting with no strings attached. Blowing in your ear, touchy-feely etc, may be something that he does just to flirt, or just cos he's in a flirtatious mood. Ask yourself, have you ever done this to any guys whom you're not interested in, but you just feel like you're in a flirty mood? I'm ashamed to admit, but I have.

As for him telling you more bout his personal problems, it could be that he enjoys talking to you, and feels that you are willing to lend a listening ear to him. Whatever that the guy has done to you, has happened to me before. My advice is, don't take it too seriously. Let it be an event of the day for you to keep in your happy memory, etc, etc.

If he really likes you, he'd go for you. Don't think so much bout it unless he tells you he likes you. If he makes no move, then it;s fine, just leave it as it is. Normally, guys are rather straight forward. If they really like you, they'd tell you. If they flirt and flirt and do nothing and they're attached, it normally just means they're bored.

well i mean it really does sound like he has interest in you, no doubt. but he may just see you as a great person and a very trust worthy person. so maybe you should talk to him about it, maybe ask "hey hows your girlfriend doin, you still liking her. (if he answers like yeah i guess) then say like oh really do you like anyone else then. and see what he says. and maybe you should tell him you like him too! but that's totally your call. good luck x3
