Hey im a teenager and I need to save up for a big trip like 7000 dollars. Would I look really bad if I got a part=time job for like six or seven months just to save up for the trip? Or would that be too shallow?
sugarplum07 answered Tuesday March 13 2007, 9:35 am: Of course not. Why would that be bad? You need the money, so you have the right to get a job and make some. When you quit, just make sure you give them your two-week notice so you'll have a better chance of being hired if you apply anywhere else. [ sugarplum07's advice column | Ask sugarplum07 A Question ]

Wish I had that when I was young lol, but all I did was party... [ Alin75's advice column | Ask Alin75 A Question ]

In fact, many young people do that; how else are you going to pay for the expenses? Many young people who work part-time do so temporarily in order to pay off different expenses (school, vacation, bills, etc.). I think it's actually a good idea for you to work several months to pay off the expenses. [ ciao77's advice column | Ask ciao77 A Question ]
