Backgrounds for my advice column

Question Posted Thursday March 8 2007, 6:36 pm

How do you upload a background from a different website onto your advice column here? Do you have to have a paid account. Advicenators gives you a link to a Google results page and I found one I like, but I don't know how to use it! Please help.
Thanks

To put a background on your column, get the URL of the image, then come back to Advicenators, click "Column Settings" (where it says 'Welcome,. your user name), put the URL in the box next to "Page background image (URL), and click Submit Colors.

If you have a background image saved, go to www.tinypic.com and upload the image and get the URL. www.photobucket.com also supplies a list of backgrounds.

To change colors of your font, go to column settings . then open a different internet explorer and copy and paste this: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
then pick a color and put it where ever.

You don't need a paid account if you just want to change the background on your advice column.

To put a background on your column, get the URL of the image, then come back to Advicenators, click "Column Settings" (on the left of the page when you're logged in), put the URL in the box next to "Page background image (URL):", and click "Submit Colors".

you save the image to your computer.
then upload it to tinypic.com.
then copy the url from tinypic.
next paste it into the "Page background image (URL)" under column settings and column colors.
hope that helps. if you neeed any more help feel free to ask me.
