I wasn't really sure what to put this under, bu there is a dance this coming friday and I don't have anyone to go with and I''m not sure whether I should go or not. My friends are going just with friends, but I don't really look good in a dress and can't stand wearing high heels. It sounds like fun, but I don't want to look awkward in front of everyone. Plus I don't have a dress or shoes. What should I do?
missbananafontana answered Tuesday March 6 2007, 3:52 pm: it depends what you mean by "not look good in a dress". if you're kinda fat, then go with a wrap dress. if you just don't look good in dresses in general, get a little minidress and if you really can't walk in heels (which i'm sure you can), wear low-heeled slides, which are stylish and really easy to walk in, at least for me. find a really good guy friend with no accompiant, and ask to double-date with one of your friends. Besides, you can also wear dressy pants (as the person below me said lol) Don't miss out on something that'll be fun just because of what you look like! You should definitely go. Don't miss out because you dont have anything to wear. You will probably regret it later. [ SoNuLiCiOuSsS's advice column | Ask SoNuLiCiOuSsS A Question ]
