monster

Question Posted Saturday March 3 2007, 4:43 pm

I just tried the Monster Energy drink yesterday and I loved it, so I asked my mom to get me it again today. She told me it's not a good idea to drink it. I thought it was harmless and I know it's not a good idea to drink it all at once in like 10 minutes.. but I want to know, what is bad about it? Are there any reasons not to drink it? What are your experiences with it? THANKS!

What's bad about it is the amount of caffeine, that's extremely dangerous to your health. So if you drink too much of it, you're risking your health, in a major way.

it is loaded with caffeine which might be bad for you. it is definitely not an everyday drink. i once had a friend who drank two of those in one day and his heart was racing so fast that he passed out and his heart stopped and it was really scary so just be careful.

monster is loaded with caffeine. people at different ages and sizes react differently to large amounts of caffeine. some people have a racing heart beat, others may even pass out. its not very healthy. one drink wont kill you, but dont drink it very often because its not too good for you. like maybe once a month.

Your mom is right, it's better not to drink them. My friend used to drink energy drinks a lot and one day, she went temporarily blind and almost passed out (and no, she didn't drink an energy drink at once in 10 minutes or anything.) Also, if you drink more than a couple of them a day, you could have heart problems because they make your heart speed up. Plus, it has a ton of sugar in it. So yeah, lay off on the Monster. =)

Energy drinks have alot of caffeine in them. Hints, the energry. They're okay to drink everyonce in a while, but kids now-a-days use them as a way to almost get buzzed, so they drink loads of them. The caffiene can stop your heart in some cases. Alot of my friends have been hospitalized from being sick after drinking them, it was mainy throwing up and horrible stomach aches for days. This may also be linked to the large amounts of caffeine in them.

So, they're okay to drink once and a while :)

Good Luck<3
