tampons ... but no period
my cousin is only 13 and she doesnt have her period and she got a tampon from her brothers gf
and she wore it .
is anything going to happen to her
cuz she was freaking out but im scared for her cuz she isnt used to this feeling !

well first off; you're not supposed to put a tampon on when you're not currently menstrual. It WILL feel uncomfortable if she has a tampon on when shes not on her period. I got my period when i was 14; towards the end of 8th grade. She'll get it soon.

It's normal to not have your period at the age of 13. You can be 15 and still not have your period. If she doesn't have it at the age of 15 and down. Maybe you should contact a doctor. They always find a way to help you out!

There is no reason to use a tampon if she's not on her period. Maybe she just wanted to experiment. Hope she doesn't do it again. I would not insert a tampon if I were not on my period because it would hurt. When you are menstrating there is lubrication (the blood) to aid in the insertion of tampon. It is possible that she tore her hymen by doing this.
your cousin is silly. Tell her not to do this again. Instead tell her to use a panty liner if she must but no tampons!!!!!

I don't know if it's necessarily bad for her, but she shouldn't have used it until she got her period, and even then, you're supposed to wait for 2 months after you received your period before you can use tampons. Just make sure she doesn't do it again, and she should be fine. But if she still continues to complain that it hurts then take her to a doctor.
