I'm 5'2 and 100 pounds but i really wanna gain some weight. I try eating junk but it doesn't help cause i have a fast metabolism.what should i do as long as it's not danderous to my health?
1. Eat consistently. Every day, have three hearty meals plus one to three additional snacks. Do NOT skip meals!
2. Eat larger than normal portions. Instead of having one sandwich for lunch, have two. Eat three potatoes at dinner, instead of only two. Have a taller glass of milk, bigger bowl of cereal, larger piece of fruit.
3.Do strengthening exercises (weight lifting, push-ups) to stimulate muscular development so that you bulk-up instead of fatten up.
4.Select higher calorie foods and drink lots of juice and milk. Beverages are a simple way to increase your caloric intake.
ciao77 answered Saturday March 3 2007, 12:09 am: I know that eating lots of junk food seems like the easiest thing to do, but try to avoid it as much as you can, as it's bad for your health. Instead, try eating bigger portions than you may be used to. Of course, don't force yourself to eat too much, but try having snacks in between meals, or having more protein and carbs. I have the same issue as you do, but I think that it's better in the long run. But I can gain a few pounds myself. Try not to eat too much junk food, and focus instead on some of the above pointers. Oh, one of the previous collumnists mentioned that you can also try having protein shakes or something like that. .. I don't really know much about it. Burger King Whopper with cheese (680)
Ruby Tuesdays i fortgot what it was called but it has like 2000 calories

Trina_boo answered Friday March 2 2007, 6:16 pm: this is hard ti explain but i'll try. So to gain weight you need to start going to ruby tuesdays its a place that have alot of colories in the food. In the cheesey vegtable supreme it has over 2000 colories i heard it on the news so try that.
XkittyOkatX answered Friday March 2 2007, 5:50 pm: There are many weight gain shakes and drinks out there, actually. Just look in the refridgerated foods section of your grocery store, I know there's a chocolate drink that my aunt drank to gain weight, which gave her great results!!
