i really need some advice
I have been best friend's with a boy for two whole years. he always makes me laugh and we always have a good time. He broke up with his girlfriend in October. since then she has not left him alone shes basically like a stalker. and because there not dating she takes it out on me, calls, IM's, and talks a lot of things behind my back. She told people she wanted to kill me and that she wanted to hang my dog, now thats just immature. i am sixteen and she is fifteen and im not the least bit intimidated. Today as i walked by in school she yelled shit at me and now im just frustrated i tryed being nice and telling her i dont like him like that but i shouldnt have to explain myself or be nice to somone whose arrogant. I am not a fighter, but i honestly believe the only way to gain respect from her is to hit her. The only thing that is holding me back is im an honor roll student, im one of those kids that cares about school and hates missing it.. stupid i know. I dont want to go tell a conselour or anything, because things like that always get worse, because my friends have been through it. I just need some advice on how to approach this girl, and what exactly i should do to avoid getting hit back. i really need your help, thankyou

Hey. Well first fighting is no way to solve it. You never know, this girl might be trying to get you to hit her so she can press charges or something. You should have a talk with you best friend and have him try and talk to her to get her to leave you alone. What she is doing is harassment. You should tell an adult because saying she wants to kill you and hang your dog is illegal. Stalking is illegal too. You should talk to your best friend to see if he can get her to stop, then maybe threaten calling the cops on her for harassment and if that doesnt work then really get the cops involved. With you being nice to her shes not taking how frustrated you are with her seriously. -helen

Tell her to cut the shit. If she doesn't, I'd just smack the shit out of her anyways. Honestly, you can make everything you miss up, and I don't think your Honor Roll with be affected. Don't be nice to her about this anymore.

hhmm.. well what you could do is that tell her to back off. if she knows that you and her xbf are just bffs then tell her that. but if she talks smack .. you know what to do talk to her (not rudly) but talk to her in a calm way. if she calls her friends on you. then tell this " what is the point of wasting our time in this.. because i dont like him... if you are jealous then talk to him... this has nothing to do with me because i am just his bestfriend."
that's it and she should feel stupid. (HAHAHA)
BE CONFIDENT OF TELLING HER THE TRUTH AND NEVER TALK SMACK BCAZ THAT WILL MAKE EVERYTHING WORST THAN IT IS. I'VE BEEN THERE. (STUPID THINGS HAPPENS)
