Hello Everyone!!! My first track meet is tomorrow, can anyone give me any tips about what I should tonight and tomorrow while at the track meet. THanks in advance
eat well tonight
get a good nights rest
have a nice big healthy breakfast
lighter lunch
don't eat within 2 hours of the meet
start drink lots of water hours before the meet
don't drink alot right before your events
always stay fully stretched

-Drink room temperature water(not cold)
-Strech your legs & arms
-Get a good nights sleep
-Go to the bathroom before you run(or you could always wait that might make you run faster lol)
-Take a warm up lap by jogging, running, or power walking
DaMasta17 answered Tuesday February 27 2007, 7:40 pm: Hey, I'm in track too, and my favorite part is the meets. So don't worry about it. Before my meets I usually just lay low and rest. But right before you race or something, you probably want to take a warm up lap and stretch so you don't pull any muscles. Make sure you go to the bathroom too, ha ha. +Don't get nervous!
+Do warm ups before running.
