how many miles do you have left when your gas light comes on? i have an '02 dodge neon, by the way.

You try driving 30 miles or so you will run out of gas. Now it does depend on the vehicle and how well it runs. Now I have a 1987 s10 and it is known to eat gas like a mother fucker. It can only get about 10 miles until it runs completely dry. But your neon is quite smaller, so the gas tank will run out much quicker. So I think you can only get about 15 to 20 miles before you can't drive anymore. It also depends on how you drive too.

It depends on the car. Like smaller cars have like 25 or so, while bigger cars/trucks have more. I'm not positive, but I think it's around 30 miles.

It is different for every car. Some cars even have different tanks for different levels of accessories (like the LX, etc.). You need to check the owner's manual. If you don't have one, you may need to find it on the internet. Usually, you have at least 2 gallons left when that light comes on. I don't know what your mileage is, but it's likely that you have at least another 45 miles.
