asking a guy to a dance

ya.so sadies is coming up in a couple of weeks, and i want to ask this guy to it.but the thing is that ive only talked to him a couple of times, and not really for a long time..so what should i do?? how should i ask him? please and thanks!

Just ask him. Be like "You know the Sadies dance coming up? Well...I was just wondering if you wanted to go with me." Just bring it up during a conversation. The two worst things he can say is: "No." or "I'm already going with somebody else."
