hey,
well i'm going to a sleepover, and we probably won't sleep, but ths morning my period came again and i thought it wouldn't till the 26th but its still irregular. and i was just going to wear a tampon because odds are we won't sleep that much and i think if we do sleep we'd go to sleep at like 3a/m and i have to leave at 10. so that's 7 hours. so i think i'll be okay. but what are some suggestions on how to handle this. just wear a tampon and change it ever 6-7 hours? because i refuse to wear a pad to a sleepover eww. hah
EriksBallerina answered Friday February 23 2007, 2:54 pm: I've been to plenty of sleepovers with my period- i've even had it arrive in the morning after the "sleeping" part of the party. I was fine- I just grabbed a pad out of my purse when no one was looking (or you can just bring it in there with you or shove a thin pad into ur pocket beforehand) and ran into the bathroom and changed it. It's not like people are going to be watching you- lol.
This whole menstration business may seem awkward to you at this point- but I swear to God it's not unusual for someone to be having her period at a sleepover.
Bring pads/tampons with you.
