What you have to try to do is keep yourself BUSY. It helps! When I'm out & about, and not home sitting on the couch, I barely think about food. You eat so much less when you're not sitting around the house doing nothing. Hang out with your friends, go for a run, run errands with your mom. Just keep yourself busy. When you're eating, drink water with your food. After you're done with your first plate of food and you're ready to go up and get another pile of it, think to yourself 'Am I even hungry?' Try not to confuse cravings with hunger. To keep yourself from overeating, don't starve yourself! Make sure that you have a HEALTHY snack when you're feeling hungry, and it's not exactly time for dinner. 100 Calorie Packs are really good, and you're not overindulging. Try fruits and veggies, yogurt, or maybe some cereal. Make sure that you drink a lot of water throughout the day too. <3 [ leLovely's advice column | Ask leLovely A Question ]

Every night do 25 crunches then every few nights advance by 25. Swimming is great and it's the sport/activity you burn most fat with because you use every muscle in your body. If you're between the ages of 11-18 stick to a 1700 calorie diet but make sure it consists of healthy things. Also, look at the back of the boxes of food and see the amounts of sodium & sugar & fat total in percentages. Be careful & don't be too obsessive. carrot is noce dipped in yoghurt..dont ask..but its true! :)
fruit and veg is great as a substitute, and you can eat as much of it as you want without that guilty feeling.
it doesnt have to be boring either...mix the fruit, blend it and drink it as a shake
for example:
apple juice
grapes
strawberries
blend it...drink it.
or banana and milk (maybe a bit of icecream for flavour) and blend :)
dont know what strwberries would taste like with milk :S
making fruit salds if fun too vary the friuts you mix, see what tastes the best
make sure you have your 5 a day :)
exercise is good too...maybe walk around the block a few times a day.
this will improve all sorts of things on you..and youll be looking great...i hope you stick to it! ;P
ashee_baby answered Thursday February 22 2007, 5:48 pm: you can have friends help you with over eating like at school, or have your parents keep junk food away from you like hide them in a cupboard or something, even better ask them to only buy healthy food.
