Hey. Body butter is pretty much the same thing as lotion, except more made for your body, as apposed to hands and feet. As for you putting it on your face, I REALLLYYY wouldn't do that if I were you. It has a lot of oils and thick gunky materials that will clog pores and make you break out. You can go to the store and get lotion that is actually for you to put on your face, and if you can't find that, companies like Covergirl and Neutrgina (spelling is wrong, I know haha) have a lot of moisturizers in the actual face wash. Hope I helped ♥ Kathleen.

It's a really rich, smoothing lotion basically. it makes your hands and body really smooth and kinda slippery. I don't think it's meant for faces unless you want a shiny-ish greasy face look. <3

Its really thick and makes your skin really soft. I just got some from Bath and Body Works the otherday in Midnight Pomegranate (smells amazing!). I wouldn't reccomend putting it on your face, because its really meant for extremely dry areas, such as elbows, feet, and knees.

Body butter is typically a thicker, richer lotion than you'd normally get. It also usually comes in a tub, as opposed to a pump or squeeze bottle.

I wouldn't recommend putting it on your face since it could easily make you break out, or just too greasy/shiny. Instead, get a moisturizer designed for your face.
