Formal Parties

Question Posted Monday February 19 2007, 12:58 pm

My friend wants to have a formal party. There would be girls and guys all 13 or 14 years old.
The only problem is that we have no idea what we could do once we're all dressed up. She's already picked out a fancy dress and everything..we just don't have any ideas for the party. Please help. :)

Organize like a lot of things to do
Like Kareoke...
Dance party w/ kareoke is soo fun!
You could play spin the bottle or truth or dare, it's so funny
Or 7 minutes in Heaven, as long as there are girls & guys at the party
You should definitely throw it like in someone's basement or backyard. With like a HUGE selection of music, from burned CDs, to iTunes, to Limewire, etc. Or hook up an iPod to one of those speaker things, I have one & it works great, it just goes through your list of music! Maybe hire a DJ?
Or better yet...if you know some friends that are like in a band or something you could have them perform because it'd be REALLY HARD to book a famous band, & it would cost so much. You gotta pay a lot for them even to show up, so you should just get some friends to perform or something. Have fun @ your party!

Pretty much the only thing that you can do is have a dance party. Make it at night, maybe in someone's backyard if it's really nice or rent out a small place. Also, I suggest getting a cheap DJ to make your party more fun. Whatever you do: stay away from cheesy games! lol good luck!

hey, well formal parties are ususally like the ones on sweet sixteen. they consist of djs, dancing, and good food. maybe you could have the dj play some games with you. not little kid games, but fun party games. the dj i had did that and bought funny little hawiian laws and huge sunglasses. have cameras on each table and have them turned into your friend at the end of the night.
