It does get better I promise! You might consider getting another dog. It won't be the same but it gives you something to look forward too. For doing something for someone who hit your dog Im sure it was an accident! They probally did not mean too. They can't really do anything to them. If you need to talk write me.

I really couldn't tell you. I know if I ever lost my dog it would be like losing a child, thats how close we are. Some people just don't understand that. If someone hit your dog there are legal actions that can be taken depending on the case. I am truely sorry for your loss.

oh my goodness, im so sorry to hear that. mine died about 6 months ago and i know how hard it is. and it does take a while to accept his/her death but you just got to think that your dog is not in pain anymore and they are up in heaven waiting for you. like the other girl said, scrapbooks are a good idea and i made a slideshow movie type thing. feel free to watch it if you want [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) this really helped me think of the good times we had together. i got her creamated so she will always be with my family. but the best thing that can help you through this is god, i pray so much that he has to help me get through this tough time and that my dog is with Him up there waiting for my family and that she is okay. i hope i helped.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. Losing an animal is about as hard as losing a friend. So much love. But thats just it. Remind yourself that Your dog did love you. He/She's in a better place and nobody can hurt him/her anymore. (if you believe in that, sorry to offend.)
Although you really can't replace your pets place in your heart, I think the scrapbook Idea was a good one. ... Lord, my eyes are watering. I cry like a baby hearing about people losing their pets. But trust me, Things will get better. Don't beat yourself up, and just remember the good things about your pet.

We'll do you know who hit your dog? Or did you see it?? If not then you can't do anything about the person that hit it. But to make you feel a little bit better just go to a pet store and see if you can find another companion! So i hope you get to feeling better!!! Sorry about your dog!!

i'm sorry your dog has died. my dog died a couple of years ago from a heat stroke. yes it gets better. what i did to remember my dog and never foget anything was i got all of my pics of him and made a scrapbook. and that helped me a lot. you can't really do anything about the person hitting your dog, but you do have to think that all pets have to die at some point. just like humans. if you know who the person is who hit your dog, you might be able to ask him/her if they would be willing to buy a new pet for you. thats what my friend did. her dog got hit by a car and she asked him if he would give her some money for a new pet, and he ended up paying for all of it. once again, i'm sorry for your loss, but it does get better. i promise. hope i helped some!! <3
