Drop acid not bombs

Question Posted Wednesday February 14 2007, 7:25 pm

I just heard the saying "drop acid not bombs". I know it is an anti-war saying, but what does drop acid mean?

Drop acid means to take the drug LSD. Acid makes you see insane things. The most common is having spiders all over you. Pretty creepy from what I've heard. I think it started in the 70's when everyone was against Vietnam and for drugs. Better anti-war sayings are "Make love not war" and things like that.

dropping acid = taking a drug, acid. It basically alters your brain, makes you crazy.

Not the best wr saying, very 70s, though.
