Pictures+Eyes

Question Posted Saturday February 10 2007, 9:43 pm

I have blue eyes and in every picture I've seen with me in it my eyes turn red. Every single time. If I were to wear brown eyeshadow, would that reduce the redness and make my eyes show up their natural color? Also, are there any other eye makeup tips that would be a solution. I know photos could be fixed by computer, but I don't want a reason for fixing..

its not the color of your eyes becayse i have brown eyes and it does the same thing to me. an old modeling trick is looking right over the camera. the red eye thing is the light of the flash reflecting off your eyes and when your not looking directly into it your fine. try looking at the head of the photographer but dont look to far up because it will look like your looking at the sky. Leo

Ahahahah.
This is a camera problem.
All you have to do is go
on your computer editor
and click "reduce red eye"

I always shoot on manual or without flash. So yeah, no more flash unless it's absolutely necessary, in which case you'll just have to fix the red eye problem on the computer later.

its not actually the color of your eyes, but it's the flash of the camera. here's a website-

maybe try not using flash if you are indoors & try using natural light such as the sun through windows or lights in your house. obviously if you're taking pictures outdoors, the sunlight will affect it with the flash of the camera.

for makeup, i guess you can try using darker eyeshadows such as brown. you should test out certain colors & see which ones come out best with your pictures.

-hope that helped!♥
