yep. i'm like that too. i just want to be funny, not sarcasic. have you explained yourself to your friends?? thats all you can really do and continue to work on it. if friends can't accept you for who you are and even accept your faults, then they're not really friends at all. its not exactly a bad thing though, maybe its just those certain people who don't like that. don't change yourself though because someone wants you to change. you are who you are and if people can't accept you for that, you need to hang with people that will.
good luck.

SAME HERE!
its really annoying, people think I'm like a complete idoit and Im not.
Its really hard to change your attitude from Sarcastic to not sarcastic, considering they are exact oppostites.
Just let the people around you know your more serious.
Like when a serious matter comes along, take it seriously with no sarcasm [even though its hard to do if your used to it ]
Also, you should stay with your true friends , if people leave you just because of your sarcasm level, thats not right.
It may be annoying to some people but its funny and its not worth loosing a friendship.
I mean come on, you could be killing people and instead your just using some sarcastic humor.
Good luck, hopefully people will start to take us seriously haha

Try letting people know in general that you're serious and that you're trying to affect a more upbeat attitude. Say things with a genuine smile and friendly body language. Be open and honest. In time, they'll come to know a different side of you.
