how do you get rid of hives??? I had a huge red bump on my cheek this morning in school and it was so embaressing!! I was thinking of going to the nurses and have an ice pack and put it on there. But my friends said that would make it redder and bigger. How do you get rid of hives?
Oh yeah and theres a red bump on my head that itches like crazy!

benedryl or claritin or some other allergy medicine..if not then go to the doctor.

I know this isn't what you want, but you shouldn't put coverup on it. That could irritate it and make it redder. Some tinted lotion might be okay, though.

Hives is a allergic reaction. My best friend gets them all the time. If it is something on your face that you are allergic to I say take it off. She takes Benadryl. It could be chicken pox though. But I hope everything goes well for you!

Okay, well, hives are an allergic reaction. If this is really an allergic reaction, you remove the allergen (makeup, soap, or whatever is causing it), and you can take Benadryl (will make you sleepy) or Claritin. It could also be a boil or a pimple (apply heat, keep it clean, and don't squeeze). Or it could be the start of something like Chicken Pox. It's hard to diagnose over the internet, but your parent or school nurse could probably help.
