When you walk into a room and your friends are in the middle of an interesting conversation and they see you but don't speak to you when you stop to speak to them; is that normal and would you feel embarrased if it happened to you?

Brandi_S answered Wednesday February 7 2007, 12:08 am: If they were in the middle of a conversation, I wouldn't fret about it. Though at least a wave in your direction would have been nice. But they may have been deep into what they were talking about.
If they were doing it in order to ignore you, I think I would be reevaluating my friendships. Real friends don't do that, and they don't stop talking when you walk into the room, either. That is not normal. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]

lovelyrics answered Tuesday February 6 2007, 10:40 pm: Do you mean when you walk up to your friends and they are talking about something and then they just get quiet all of a sudden when you get there?
If that is what you mean than, that happens to me alot. :] I'd say it's normal. I wouldn't feel so embarrassed because it happens to everyone. I usually just go in and sit there until we all start talking about something else. Or, i would start talking about something that would spark up a new conversation.
I hope this helped you. :]
