Hairstyles

Question Posted Friday February 2 2007, 4:26 pm

What are some hairstyles
BESIDES....
-Straightening it & leaving it down, or putting it up into a sloppy bun
-Scrunching it (it never comes out good for me--always frizzy and comes out in like 2 seconds, I've tried those foam curlers over night and that makes my hair like an afro)

So my questions are...
-What are hairstyles other than straightening it, scrunching it, etc.
-How can you straighten it w/o it coming out frizzy? Do you scrunch it with wet or dry hair?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

-You could straighten it, and clip your bangs up.
-Straighten it and wear a headband
-A low side ponytail
-Wear your hair with braids to bed, then take it out in the morning.
-Half up/Half Down
-Curl it (if you have the time)
-Two braids

* To straighten your hair & stop the friz, there's some hair products that help out with this. I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. It really helps to flatten and smooth out annoying pieces of hair, while protecting it from heat damage and conditioning your hair too! I got it at Supercuts.

*You scrunch your hair when it's DAMP. Don't do it RIGHT when you get out of the shower, or else it won't hold, and don't scrunch your hair when it's dry, or else it'll be frizzy.

Heres a website that I love
with hundreds of hairstyles. (Click
the hair link to get to the page with
all of them on there. Then click on the
picture you like to get to the instructions
of how to style your hair like that)
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Now:
When straightening your hair be sure to
use a heat protectant if you don't already.
After you finished straightening your hair
either 1. Put in finishing cream. 2. Hair
spray lightly then run a brush through you hair
to make it look more natural. or 3. Flip your
hair over and brush it out a bit, then flip
your head up right again and see what pieces
still need to be straightened. Doing this will
make it easier to see which pieces aren't
straight.

Scrunching:
When you come out of the shower, wrap your
hair up in a towel for about 5 minutes. Then
when you take it out DO NOT BRUSH IT. This
can make it more difficult to scrunch your
hair. Then take scrunching mousse and scrunch
your hair with that and/or use gel. Hairspray
when done.

Good Luck<3
