i really want to cut my own sidebangs, but how can i do it without them looking bad or messing my hair up? i don't want to go to a salon either. thanks!
I like to cut mine when my hair is
dry that way I can see the exactl length
and such.
1) Part your hair how you normally would
pick out the section/amount of hair you want
to cut. Pull back hair that you are not using
that way you don't cut anything extra. Also,
brush the section you're cutting thoroughly.
2) Align the scissors at an upward angle
or whatever angle you want them to be at. Slowly,
a couple strands at a time, cut the hair in
and upward angle.
3) To make the bangs look more natural instead
of perfect and straight, use a new disposable
razor. Pick a few random strands of your
bangs and razor the ends so that they are slightly shorter then some of the others.
Then run the razor along the bottom of all
of our bangs, just to make it look a bit more
natural.
