no its not ok.
yes it is just frozen water.. but when it goes through the air it picks up pollution and other stuff that is bad for you. it was also reported that there is a lot of mercury in the snow.. which can kill you.
(mercury is the stuff in thermometers)
so dont eat snow!!

ya just make sure its not yellow or dirty, snow is just like water but its frozen. its like kinda melted ice so you can eat it.

Actually these people are wrong. If you live in the city or a place with a lot of cars or factories there is pollution. The polution gets into the clouds and forms acid rain, which, when cold, is snow. Don't eat polluted snow!
