well a kiss can b like a peck on the lips but making out can involve your tongue and making out can actually to more sexual things

kissing someone is just like a peck.. like one quick little thing like people normally do on the cheek.. or where ever you feel like kissing someone.
makeing out has tongue involved, lasts a lot longer and is a lot more sexual :]. a lot more fun too.

Everyone has their own definition for kisses but I believe a kiss is a peck on the lips. And making out is with tounge and more passionate. ♥
