Making an Office

Question Posted Sunday January 28 2007, 10:47 am

I'm moving soon, and want to have an office in the house. I'm a student, so I thought it would be a great thing for my school work and other things I have to work on. Can anyone recommend or suggest somethings that I really need to have in an office? Also, I have to sell this idea to my parents, I'm in high school.

First you need study tables and chairs. You also need filing cabinets and book shelves. It doesn't need to be that big. Choose office furniture that are light, durable and fits perfectly on the office you are planning to make. Good luck. Try this site:

They have a lot of office furniture and stuff. They also got good price and awesome deals.

#1 thing to hav ein a office is an computer. Very useful in doing homework and stuff. #2 a reading area. Like a recliner, bookshelf, and a floor lamp. And #3 a window. So if you don't want your lights on you can open up your curtain. It is also good to the window open too! Good Luck!

hey, alright well make it your own. treat it like its your second room. some things that you dont want to put in there are: a radio, a television, and a phone. that will just give your parents the idea that you just want to have a hangout place and are using an office as an excuse. bring your cellphone in there incase anyone needs to contact you. put a desk, a bookshelf, a chair, a laptop, and some pens. just the basic stuff that you`ll need.
